Why hello,
It's been too long again. I forgot about writing on this thing which is perfect as I'm moving. No one likes moving but I like the way it forces one to evaluate all the things we carry. It helps trim down possessions. I have so many boxes of books that stay in the boxes and seem quite fascinating as I attempt to rid myself of things. I can't help but buy quirky old books, momentarily forgetting how heavy they will be to lug about. I am keeping these books as a charm to ward off future purchases and additional heavy boxes. I'll tell you how it goes if I remember to write.
I am moving in with my best friend, Sarah, for the summer. She has been living alone in a cute mid-century house for a couple of years with her kitty. It's a bit further out than I am used to but the additional blocks will force me to ride further on my bikes and stay less out of shape. And we can have dinner parties too. There are already several in the works as well as a hot and heavy discussion about getting some chickens. I love chickens but mostly I love fresh eggs. The eggs available for purchase in the grocery store can't compete with their timid pale yellow corn-and-soybean-fed yolks. The best eggs are from chickens that eat bugs and kitchen scraps and actually go outside. Hopefully we will be able to jimmy-rig some sort of a coop and a run in the next couple of weeks.
As far as prints go. I just finished a run of revolvers with a luminous orange heart. My camera is packed away at my new house so I can't take a picture or post anything to etsy yet, but it's on the agenda.
