How have you been? It seems the longer I go without posting anything here, the harder it is to imagine what I should tell you. It's the most wonderful time of the year- summer, and so much has been going on it's hard to keep track.
At present, I am sitting in the beautiful Ristretto roasters on williams with my dirty knees and the evidence of sun slowly reddening my skin. I went blueberry picking this afternoon on Sauvie's Island. I now have 10 pounds of blueberries in plastic bags hanging up on the coat rack at the press. Next week Lucy and I are having a giant dinner party and the blueberries will become a crisp. (In the interim they will take a week off in the freezer).
In about 15 minutes, a friend of a friend with a fancy camera and skills is coming over to Lark Press to take some half decent pictures of my prints. My camera and I have been in a fight, this is part of my excuse for not posting-who wants to look at a blog without pictures? It's like a poorly illustrated children's book. You pick it up, you put it down. In this case you travel somewhere else in screen nowhere land. Nonetheless, I will have new pictures soon. In the meantime, a few words and tomorrow I'm off to San Francisco for the weekend.
